I have always liked projects made out of PVC. Some people are so creative!

I tried to make the Super Cute Scissors that were shown at Skip to My Lou, but I was having really bad luck.
I couldn't get my paper to stick to the scissors well enough or sand the paper down close enough to the scissor blade.
So, I decided to eliminate the paper from the project all together.
I had my kids draw designs and write their teacher's names on the blades of a pair of scissors with Sharpie markers.
I put a layer of Diamond Glaze on the sides and let dry.
We then attached the scissors to a cute tag.
The teachers seemed happy to receive these as an end of year gift.
And now, they will always know which scissors are theirs!

I saw this cute idea at Skip to My Lou, and decided I would make these for my kids' teachers for Teacher Appreciation next week. The school asked for money donated for new chairs, but I still wanted to send something little for the teachers to enjoy.
I found some cute, colorful take out boxes at Michaels. They were less than 50 cents a box, because I used a coupon!
I decided on La Choy fortune cookies because I liked that they were individually wrapped.
I made up tags in my digital scrapbook program. I fit 6 of them on a 5x7.
I stuck them to the filled take out boxes with double sided tape.
A cute, easy gift, that I think the teachers will like.
