Super Cute Valentine's Ideas

I LOVE these super cute Valentine's ideas from a few different sites.
The first is from Jacolyn Murphy.
The second is from Design Mom.  I also saw another version of it at Disney's Family Fun.
The last idea is from Skip To My Lou.  Now I definitely want a paper crimper!

Zevia All Natural Soda

I received my Zevia sample kit from Moms Meet last week.  After searching for it at a few local stores with no luck, I checked the website and realized I had to go a little further to use my coupons.  When we found it we decided to try every flavor the store carried, so we bought 4 six packs .
My kids loved it.  I don't usually like them to drink soda so they thought this was great.
I also shared our samples with a neighbor who really cares about health and giving her girls natural products.  They were as excited to try Zevia as my kids were.
Each kid has their favorite flavor, my daughter likes the Black Cherry.
My son likes the Dr. Zevia.
And the youngest liked the Cola.
They were so excited to have some left over to take to school in their lunch, and because it is all natural I don't have to feel bad sending it!

Secret Hollow Book

On a rainy day this weekend, we decided to try making secret hollow books.  We went to the local thrift store and picked up a couple cheap, thick hardcovers.  After looking at a couple of tutorials from How To Do Stuff and The Art of Manliness.  This is how our project turned out.

It was a messy project and I will probably be vacuuming up paper for a week, but my kids love them!

Paracord Bracelets

My son saw some of these paracord bracelets for sale at the local Scout shop.  He wanted to buy one for $10.  I told him to wait and we would see if we could figure out how to make one on our own.  We found this great tutorial by Stormdrane.  All of the information is there.  Everything from where to buy the supplies to pictures of each step.  We were able to buy a bunch of different colors and my daughter loves making them for her brothers (she even chose some pink cord, pictured above, for herself)!  For less then $2 a bracelet, I think that we did pretty good!
